1. Services Covered

Private-chef career strategy sessions and one-to-one mentoring.
Career-readiness questionnaires, assessments, and related review.
Resume development, editing, and refinement.
Professional biography development and editing.
Career toolkits, portfolios, and other career-support materials.

Other private-chef career-development or professional-support services identified on the Website.
The scope, format, price, included deliverables, and timing of a particular service are determined by the description provided for that service at the time of purchase.
2. Current Individual Services and Pricing
Current offerings may include a 90-Minute Career Strategy Session and career-support document services such as resumes, professional biographies, career toolkits, and portfolios, individually or in bundles. Current prices and available packages are displayed on the applicable sales or checkout page and may change for future purchases.
A price change does not retroactively change the price of a service already purchased.
3. Payment
Payment is required according to the terms displayed for the selected service. Unless a specific offer expressly provides a payment plan or different arrangement, payment is due at purchase. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for any payment obligations they authorize. Chef's Soulful Compass may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, date, and transaction reference.
4. Scheduling Mentoring and Strategy Sessions
Services that include a live appointment must be scheduled through the scheduling method provided by Chef's Soulful Compass. Appointment availability may vary. The client is responsible for confirming the correct date, time, and time zone and for having access to the telephone, internet connection, video platform, or other technology needed for the session.
Clients should arrive prepared and complete any required pre-session questionnaire, assessment, or information request by the stated deadline so the session can be used effectively.
5. Rescheduling, Cancellations and Missed Sessions
Any service-specific cancellation, rescheduling, missed-session, late-arrival, refund, or credit terms displayed when the service is booked are incorporated into these Service Policies and control for that purchase.
If no separate service-specific rule is displayed, a client who needs to change an appointment should contact Chef's Soulful Compass as soon as reasonably possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Repeated rescheduling, failure to attend, or substantial lateness may require a new appointment or additional payment if the original service can no longer reasonably be delivered.
Chef's Soulful Compass will communicate with the client if a scheduled session must be changed by the business and will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected service.
6. Client Information and Preparation
The quality and accuracy of career guidance and deliverables depend in part on the information provided by the client. Clients agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge and to identify material errors or omissions when reviewing drafts or recommendations.
Clients may be asked to provide career history, resumes, job descriptions, employment goals, compensation information, application history, recruiter experiences, assessment responses, or other information relevant to the service.
7. Voice and Video Calls; Recording and Replay
Mentoring and strategy sessions may take place by telephone, voice call, or video conference. Sessions may be recorded for replay and to allow Chef's Soulful Compass to accurately extract, review, organize, or summarize information discussed during the session.
Recordings, transcripts, summaries, and notes may be used to prepare the client's Career Action Plan, recommendations, resume, biography, toolkit, portfolio, follow-up materials, or other deliverables associated with the service purchased.
Where notice or consent to recording is required, notice will be provided and the consent required by applicable law will be obtained before recording. A client who does not wish to be recorded should communicate that before recording begins so that available alternatives can be discussed.
Recordings and session-derived information are handled in accordance with the Chef's Soulful Compass Privacy Policy and are not intended for public or promotional use unless the client separately authorizes that use.
8. Confidentiality
Career discussions may involve private information about current or former employers, private households or clients, recruiters, compensation, job searches, workplace experiences, professional challenges, or personal circumstances relevant to career planning.
Chef's Soulful Compass treats this information as client information and does not intentionally disclose private session or career information to prospective employers, staffing agencies, recruiters, or other third parties for their independent use unless the client authorizes the disclosure, disclosure is reasonably necessary to perform a service the client requested, or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
9. Resume, Biography, Toolkit and Portfolio Services
For document-development services, the client is responsible for providing accurate source information and reviewing completed materials for factual accuracy before using or distributing them. Chef's Soulful Compass may edit, organize, rewrite, format, or present client-provided information as part of the purchased service.
A completed resume, biography, toolkit, portfolio, or other career document is a professional-support deliverable; it does not guarantee interviews, placement, employment, compensation, recruiter interest, or any particular career result.
10. Turnaround Times and Client Delays
Any estimated or promised turnaround time stated for a particular service is measured according to the terms of that offer and may depend on the client providing required information, completing questionnaires, attending scheduled sessions, and responding to reasonable requests for clarification or review.
A delay by the client in supplying required information or feedback may extend the completion date. If a service has a specific turnaround commitment, that service-specific commitment controls.
11. Revisions and Scope of Work
The number and type of revisions included with a document or deliverable are determined by the service description or written terms applicable to the purchase. Requests that materially expand the original scope of work may require an additional service or fee.
Corrections of factual information supplied by the client remain subject to the client promptly identifying the correct information.
12. No Employment, Placement or Income Guarantee
Chef's Soulful Compass provides career strategy, mentoring, education, and professional-support services. Chef's Soulful Compass is not promising or guaranteeing employment, job placement, interviews, recruiter responses, offers, compensation, income, business revenue, promotion, career advancement, or any other specific outcome.
Hiring and placement decisions are made by employers, principals, households, agencies, recruiters, or other independent third parties. A client's results may depend on experience, qualifications, market conditions, location, applications, interviews, professional conduct, follow-through, and other factors outside Chef's Soulful Compass's control.
13. Staffing Agencies, Recruiters and Referrals
Chef's Soulful Compass may receive clients through relationships or referrals involving staffing agencies, recruiters, culinary schools, industry contacts, or other organizations. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a referral to Chef's Soulful Compass does not mean that the referring organization guarantees the client's readiness, employment, placement, or outcome.
Likewise, purchasing mentoring or career-support services from Chef's Soulful Compass does not create a promise that Chef's Soulful Compass or any referring organization will place the client in a position.
14. Educational and Career Guidance
Mentoring and career-support services are based on professional experience, career-development principles, information supplied by the client, and the scope of the service purchased. They are intended for educational and professional-development purposes.
Clients remain responsible for their own career decisions, applications, representations to employers, contract decisions, salary negotiations, financial decisions, and acceptance or rejection of employment opportunities.
15. Intellectual Property and Client Use
Chef's Soulful Compass retains ownership of its original frameworks, assessments, scoring systems, templates, training materials, guides, educational content, methods, worksheets, and other underlying intellectual property.
A client may use personalized deliverables created for that client for their own career and professional purposes. Purchasing a service does not grant permission to reproduce, resell, teach, publish, distribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit Chef's Soulful Compass's underlying materials, templates, methods, or training content.
Clients retain ownership of original materials and factual information they provide to Chef's Soulful Compass, subject to the limited permission necessary for us to review, edit, store, reproduce, and use those materials to perform the requested service.
16. Testimonials and Client Results
Testimonials, examples, or client experiences may illustrate individual experiences but do not guarantee that another client will receive the same or similar results. Private recordings, confidential session information, or identifying client information will not be used publicly as a testimonial or promotional material unless separately authorized.
17. Third-Party Platforms and Resources
Services may use third-party scheduling, payment, voice/video conferencing, transcription, email, document, cloud-storage, or other technology providers. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Chef's Soulful Compass may also discuss or identify outside resources, staffing agencies, job platforms, recruiters, or other third parties for informational purposes. Unless expressly stated, those third parties are independent and Chef's Soulful Compass does not control their decisions, services, availability, or outcomes.
18. Professional Conduct and Termination of Services
Chef's Soulful Compass may discontinue a client relationship when reasonably necessary because of nonpayment, fraud, threats, harassment, abusive conduct, material misuse of services or materials, repeated failure to provide information necessary to perform the service, or another material breach of applicable terms. Any refund or financial consequence will be determined by the terms applicable to the purchased service and applicable law.
19. Privacy
The collection, use, recording, storage, and sharing of personal information associated with mentoring and career-support services is described in the Chef's Soulful Compass Privacy Policy. This includes information provided through questionnaires, assessments, communications, client documents, voice/video sessions, recordings, transcripts, and service providers.
20. Relationship to Website Terms
These Service Policies supplement the Chef's Soulful Compass Website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If a particular service includes additional written terms, the service-specific terms control for that purchase where they differ from these general Service Policies.
21. Changes to These Service Policies
Chef's Soulful Compass may update these standing Service Policies as its mentoring and career-support offerings or operating practices change. An update does not retroactively replace material purchase terms already agreed to for an existing service unless permitted by the applicable agreement or law.
